Child Health / Paediatric ENT

Up to 25 percent of Mr Hettige's practice involves dealing with children and paediatric patients with ENT issues.

 

He has, therefore, developed good experience in creating a relaxed, gentle manner in the consulting room to put younger and potentially more nervous patients at ease.

With two young children of his own, he is often found humming the 'Paw Patrol' theme tune in his office.

Childhood ENT issues he commonly deals with are:

- hearing loss, glue ear & discharging ears

- recurrent tonsillitis

- obstructive sleep apnoea

- neck lumps

- tongue-tie

- airway disorders

- nasal allergy & congestion

- sinus problems
